Marcus Jones is a Junior Urban Studies and Africana Studies BA Candidate at University of Pittsburgh. As a CEEJH intern, Marcus studies the policy implications and determinants of environmental racism and health disparities within marginalized communities and communities of color. Additionally, Marcus works alongside Dr. Danielle Andrews-Brown (University of Pittsburgh) on research concerning Access and Environmental Health Disparities in Communities of Color and Low-Income Communities in Northern Jersey. Marcus is interested in exploring the relationship between policy and health disparities within low income and racial minority communities.
